Alas, the crown jewel of the whole NHL is the Stanley Cup. If a team wins this trophy, they go down in history and have bragging rights of the top tier. Hockey is a very tough game both physically and mentally. Players are highly skilled, intelligent and physically fit and will stop at nothing to get the puck in the goal.
When you have 11 of these types of individuals in the ice rink, things get interesting very quickly. Hockey is a low scoring game but do not let that discourage you, every goal is more appreciated because it takes a tremendous amount of work to juke out the other team and the goalie.
These people are not picked for the position at random, they got to that position because of diligence, commitment and hard work. Each player has a job and when all of them do their jobs well over a whole season, they have a chance to win the final game and the prize is fame, respect and the legendary Stanley Cup trophy.
